What started as a hobby project has quickly grown into an exciting journey toward building a better operating system for small businesses and everyday users.
What started as a hobby project for fun has grown into something much more exciting than expected!
After having fun building Proton OS project, I decided to release it to the wild and see what would happen.
Less than five days after its public launch, Proton OS has surpassed 1,000 downloads.
Even more unexpectedly, someone made a donation to support the project.
While one donation may seem small, it means a lot. It is a strong reminder that people are not only downloading and testing Proton OS, but that some are also willing to support the vision behind it.
Thank you to everyone who has downloaded Proton OS, tested it and supported the project through a donation.
The response has been unexpected, exciting, and incredibly encouraging.
Proton OS was created with a simple goal: to provide a stable, secure, familiar, and straightforward operating system that works well for both everyday users and small businesses.
This is only the beginning. There is still a lot to improve, features to develop, ideas to test, and feedback to incorporate.
The goal now is to keep listening to the community, continue improving Proton OS, and work toward making it the best operating system possible for small businesses and everyday users.
